He doesn't want to involve her in his drama with his bitchy wife again, so he tries to just climb back out of view, and... Does exactly what he'd been aiming to avoid. He missteps, and with a startled bark of sound, drops a good distance before he manages to find a foothold and keep from falling clear off the building.]
[So then he pretty much has the choice of try to jump far enough out and land and leave, or climb back up. The latter is a much safer choice, so...]
